all i talk about is music

last night my mom and i went to outback steak house to celebrate her new job.

i like outback steakhouse.

then we went to rasputin, where i bought vinyl.

i figure that if i want to buy albums i really like, that i already have on the computer, i should buy them on vinyl. the chances of me listening to a record are much greater than the chances of me listening to a cd.

i bought the Arcade Fire's Funeral and Elf Power's Walking With The Beggar Boys. The latter came with a bonus CD with 2 exclusive songs. that's pretty cool.

i am looking for Neutral Milk Hotel's In The Aeroplane Over The Sea, but Rasputin didnt have it.

colin meloy is a good song writer. even his high school-era songs were good. his college ones were better, though. and the more recent ones are my favorite.

basically the Decemberists>Tarkio>Happy Cactus. but some of tarkio is better than some of the D-ists.

I don't really know. it was just one of those cities that I really hit it off with. My dad loved the city, also. He also doesn't really know why.

one good point that immediately comes to mind is the nice weather. It is never hot or humid, albeit it rains very often and gets very cold in the winter.

if you like the rain, you'll probably like it all year long.

my dad, who went to the u-dub (over berkeley and yale), jokes about how you get a handful of days when it doesn't rain each year ... those are the days when it snows.

Seattle is also very expensive. Trying to buy stuff there is hard as the prices are jacked up

Maybe you can stop in and see Chris he's about an 1 or so south of Seattle right on I-5. 82 miles to be exact. He lives close to the freeway and his apartment is quite the thing 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom. A condo more likely than a apartment
